T.V. in the S.C.M.P.
Tallis Vocalis got a lovely mention in the SCMP letters page this week (8th July).
In a letter written by William Littlewood in response to the usual (and SO tedious) "Hong Kong is a cultural desert" whinge by columnist Alex Lo ("Why Hong Kong localism has no future"), he used our Requiem concert in Mongkok as evidence that this is really not the case.
"As I came away from a beautiful concert in Mong Kok's All Saints' Cathedral, given by a new choir Tallis Vocalis... I felt proud and privileged to be living in a city that, without boasting about it, can provide that kind of "real moral, intellectual and spiritual" experience.
